I love to live near the ocean. That free feeling!
I've named this painting; Sea breeze, because I was feeling that breeze from the sea when I shot the photo for this piece, and I can easily imagine that breeze while looking at it. I shot the reference photo in stormy weather close to where we live. The photo was shot in Tromøya in Arendal, Norway.
This summer I was on a chase for an ocean view to paint, and I shot a lot of different photos from lot's of different places, but this photo was my favorite. This painting is my first try on painting realistic waves, and I LOVE the result!
